1. What We Are Building
Vancouver Practical Guides helps Greater Vancouver Area homeowners prepare better project details before requesting EV charger installation quotes. Instead of receiving vague requests like "how much for a charger in my garage?", contractors who partner with us receive structured leads with real project details.
We are currently in Phase 1. The focus is simple: EV charger installation quotes in Greater Vancouver Area. We are not a general contractor marketplace. We do not run ads for contractors. We focus on collecting and routing qualified, structured quote requests.
Structured lead forms
Homeowners submit project details including property type, parking, panel size, distance, and timeline before contacting contractors.
Niche focus
Phase 1 is EV charger installations only. Future phases will expand to panel upgrades, heat pumps, and other home upgrade categories.
Greater Vancouver Area only
Leads are focused on homeowners in Greater Vancouver Area municipalities including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, and others.
Trial partner model
We are starting with a small number of trial contractor partners. Trial leads are free. Paid lead options will be introduced later based on demand.
2. What Lead Details May Include
Each quote request submitted through Vancouver Practical Guides is structured. Leads may include some or all of the following details, depending on what the homeowner provides:
Lead summary first. We share a brief project summary (without full contact details) before a contractor commits to a lead. Full contact details are sent only after a contractor confirms they want to receive the lead.
3. Why Structured Leads Are More Useful
Most online platforms send contractors a name and phone number and expect them to follow up cold. Structured leads with real project details reduce wasted follow-up time on both sides.

During the trial phase:

- You receive a project summary before committing to a lead
- Full homeowner contact details are shared only after you confirm interest
- We ask for brief feedback on lead quality after follow-up
- No exclusivity commitment during the trial period
